So while waiting for my new PC fan to arrive, I decided to bide my time playing Borderlands 2.
And then I heard this.
…there is NO. ESCAPING. SHAKESPEARE.

DARK SOULS Bosses
Sad thing is, this isn’t even all the fucking bosses in this game. And every goddamn one of them is a pain in the dick.

Here, let me tell you the long story of why I stopped doing this. -It was just like all the other times I had been running around, I believe I chose Falkreath, since I had been at the Sleeping Giant Inn, which is relatively near, in Riverwood. I chose a victim and followed him for around 12 hours. I watched him chop wood and farm a small garden. It was finally getting dark and he made his way home. My only observation from the whole day was that he seemed depressed. I almost felt half-way decent about choosing him, like I was putting him out of his misery. I followed him inside, and hid in a corner of the small, rectangular, single-roomed house. I watched him sit and eat a loaf of bread for an hour or so. I watched him lay down and go to bed. I smirked, since it was beginning. I cleared everything from his house, which barely amounted to anything inside this tiny shack. I opened the chest at the foot of his bed and only found a few potatoes, 7 gold, and a Gold Jeweled Necklace. This struck me as odd, since he was a poor man, living in a tiny shack full of mediocre things, except this Gold Jeweled Necklace. This may seem like nothing to you, but all the items in his house probably would have only sold for about 200 gold. This necklace was worth almost 500 gold. I looked at the man’s wrinkle covered face and saw sorrow. He was sad. I crouched behind him and dealt a final blow to his neck. I rolled him over, crossed his arms, and emptied his inventory. I laid the Nightshade on his bedside table and fled into the night. On my way out, I encountered a young warrior. This struck me as odd, as it was 4 a.m. and the only ones out at this hour are the guards. She spotted me and said: “I hope you don’t plan on pick-pocketing me.” in a stern voice. I had forgotten I was crouched. I stood and talked to her. She was a happy young adventurer, covered in studded armor with red war paint beneath her eyes. She told me all about how she had been out exploring Tamriel and now she was finally home. She told me she was busy and couldn’t stay to talk, she had to see her father, whom she was missing very much. I began walking away until it all came to me at once. I turned around hoping she wouldn’t go where I thought she was going. She opened the door to the small, rectangular house and my heart dropped. I rushed to the house, and some guards met me at the door. We all went inside to a nude corpse with his arms crossed, laying on the bed. On the table next to him lay a single Nightshade flower, equally as still. In the center of the hut, the young adventurer sobbed on all fours. She looked upwards and asked “By Talos, who would do such a thing?!?!?” I walked over and opened her pocket. I put the Gold Jeweled Necklace in. “I would.” I whispered.- Felt so fucking bad man. He was giving her the necklace as a homecoming gift. The only reason he was sad was that he hadn’t seen his daughter in a long while. I took that away from them and I can never forgive myself. First time I’ve ever felt remorse for killing a video game character ever, because they were so god damned real, and I was tearing up. I genuinely felt like these were real people when it happened since the emotions were all so real. TL;DR: Fucking read it. All of it. And cry, dammit. P.S. I dumped all of the stuff from his house into Lake Ilinalta. Some of it’s still sitting at the bottom of the lake.
